International Dental Expertise
Get To Know Dr. Eliana Valdez
Dr. Eliana Valdez was born and raised in the Dominican Republic and was interested in the medical field from an early age. She originally wanted to become a forensic doctor before her mother encouraged her to pursue dentistry as her profession. After seeing how dentists could change the lives of their patients for the better, Dr. Valdez decided to enter dental school in the Dominican Republic, graduating in 2008. After operating her own practice for a year, she moved to Chile to undertake a residency in prosthodontics.
Then, Dr. Valdez met her husband and moved to the United States in 2010. After working in Massachusetts for a number of years under a Dental Limited License, she attended Tufts University to get her American DMD. Since then, Dr. Valdez has continued to enhance her dental knowledge by taking training courses on dental implants, laser dentistry, and nitrous oxide sedation.
In her approach to dentistry, Dr. Valdez focuses on listening to the individual needs of each and every patient. With individualized treatment plans, a focus on education, and her always judgment-free approach, Dr. Valdez empowers our patients to smile brightly and live healthier lives, too.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Valdez loves traveling and exploring the world. Paris is her favorite destination, but she’s been all around the world. When she’s not planning her next adventure, you’ll find her watching Netflix with her husband, singing in her church choir on Sundays, and enjoying dinner and red wine with her closest friends.

What to Expect
At Your Visit
Once you check in with our front desk, you’ll wait for your first visit with Dr. Valdez. You can sit down, relax, and enjoy a complimentary drink and/or snack from our refreshment bar.
Once its time for your checkup, a dental assistant will bring you back to one of our comfy operating rooms where they will take your blood pressure and X-rays to assess the state of your oral health. Then, Dr. Valdez will perform an exam and discuss her findings with you, and develop a treatment plan if there are any oral health issues that need to be addressed right away.
Dr. Valdez or one of our hygienists will clean your teeth to remove plaque and tartar. This reduces your risk of gum disease and cavities and leaves your smile nice and shiny, too.
Finally, check in with our front desk to schedule your next checkup or any other necessary follow-ups. That’s all there is to it!
What to Bring
We recommend that you bring in a medical history and a list of any medications you’re taking. If available, dental records from past dentists are great to have, too!
